LUMENS HPL Smart Boxes are application-specific interface modules designed to help aftermarket lighting operate correctly with vehicles that use advanced lighting monitoring and control systems. Depending on the vehicle and lighting application, a Smart Box may be required to address issues such as bulb-out warnings, flickering, improper operation, or other compatibility problems that can occur after upgrading the factory lighting. Designed to integrate between the vehicle and compatible LUMENS HPL lighting components, Smart Boxes provide a cleaner solution than modifying the vehicle's factory wiring. When specified through the LUMENS HPL Year, Make and Model lookup, use the recommended Smart Box to help ensure proper operation of the lighting upgrade.
