When installing this bulb behind a colored lens, choose a bulb color that matches the lens for best results. For example, use a red bulb behind a red lens and an amber bulb behind an amber lens. Using a white bulb behind a colored lens may result in reduced light output and color performance.
When used as a signal bulb, additional resistors , an LED-compatible flasher , or vehicle programming may be required for proper operation. Additional components or programming may also be required on vehicles equipped with sensitive lighting circuitry.
